Project: Fear - The Aftermath

Well, its all over and we did it, the UK's most Xtreme scare attraction ever was a massive success and more so than we ever dared dream! We deliberately avoided posting anything for the show on this blog, hence the lack of updates, as we wanted to keep everything top secret so the surprise wasn’t spoiled.

During the 3 day run we had the safety word said a few times, not as many as I thought we would but, most surprisingly of all, it was said most by our invited scare companies and attraction operators, what does this say for the us all!!

The show started with a huge, 7 minute torture scene and the guests were bagged, tied and interrogated by what must have seemed like an age. The simulated water boarding technique is where most said the safety word but it WAS brutal! After that, scenes of abuse, sexual fetish, drugs, gun crime, prostitution, beatings and kidnappings all followed. The finale was being bundled into a coffin and sealed in only to be rescued by an SAS operative and led to the safety of the bar area.

So, all in all, a great success and another set of fantastic reviews for us, what more could we ask for. Up next for GNG are 8 murder mystery nights in York throughout September called the Shew Stone Murders? These will take place at 2 hotels in the city every Friday and Saturday throughout September and then, the big one!

Plans for Halloween are coming along strong but we are going all out. We are not just doing a scare maze, its going to be so much more. Details will be posted as and when we can release them but this will be our biggest endeavour to date and should put us firmly on the map of the big players (all being well anyway!). The event will be called All Hallows and will run from the 14th to the 31st of October, commencing at 12 o’clock midday until VERY late, more on this soon
